Al-Saeed University carries out a workshop to specify the Artificial Intelligence Bachelor's Program at the College of Engineering and Information Technology

In the presence of Professor Sameh Abdul-Jalil Al-Ariqi, President of the University, the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the University carried out today, Wednesday, a workshop to specify the Artificial Intelligence Program at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. The specification came as a continuation of the university's efforts to keep pace with cognitive, scientific, technical and technological trends and developments and meet the needs and requirements of the labor market, and ensure the quality of its academic programs, according to local, regional and international standards.
The workshop brought together an elite group of academics and experts in the field of artificial intelligence from the University of Potsdam in Germany, and from Taiz University, faculty members, heads of departments, and the Deanship of the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university, with participation from sectors of the technical and technological labor market, and addressed several main axes, including specifying the educational objectives of the program and its intended outcomes, graduate specifications, specifying teaching and learning strategies, and student performance evaluation strategies according to best practices.
The university president, Professor Sameh Al-Ariqi, pointed out in the opening of the workshop that this workshop is an important step towards achieving the university's vision of providing qualitative academic programs, to contribute to serving the community and providing its institutions with scientific competencies capable of creativity, innovation and providing the best, especially in light of the technical and technological revolution. He added that the university will continue its efforts to enhance the quality of its academic programs and meet the changing needs of the labor market, in the context of sustainable development.
